Dr. Güncel Öztürk, born in Istanbul in 1979, grew up surrounded by art, thanks to his father, a sculptor. This artistic upbringing sparked his love for sculpture and painting.
He graduated from Istanbul University Cerrahpasa Faculty of Medicine in 2003, where he decided to specialize in plastic surgery in Istanbul, connecting his passion for the arts with medicine. He excelled in the Medical Specialization Exam (TUS), securing a spot in the Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery department at Istanbul University.
During his training, Dr. Öztürk expanded his skills internationally, learning about facial and nose aesthetics at Yale University in 2006 and focusing on nose and breast aesthetics at the University of Miami in 2007. After completing his six-year training, he became a certified plastic surgeon in Turkey, with a strong reputation in both reconstructive and aesthetic procedures.
Dr. Öztürk didn’t stop there. He earned European accreditation in plastic surgery, completing exams in Belgium and France. He also served his military duty at Malatya Military Hospital and completed mandatory service at Sivas Numune Hospital.
Dr. Öztürk has published numerous articles in international journals and has even developed his own surgical techniques. His contributions to the field have made him a well-known plastic surgeon in Istanbul.
He now runs his private practice in Nişantaşı, where he continues to offer top-notch cosmetic procedures, helping patients from around the world. His work is not just about surgery; it’s about blending art with science, making him a distinguished plastic surgeon in Istanbul and beyond.
